Any Yellowknife musicians who wish to perform at the 2023 Farmer’s Market can now get themselves registered!
The Farmer’s Market will be running every Tuesday from June 6th until September 12th at the Somba K’e Civic Plaza. This will be the tenth year the Market has been held in Yellowknife, and will be another chance for city residents to showcase their fresh, local food, and handcrafted creations. To help celebrate the tenth anniversary, organizers are encouraging vendors to come up with a special edition item or product to sell.
The Market is also providing an opportunity for local musicians to take the stage and show the city their talent. Performances run through the duration of the market, from 5:15pm to 7:15.
Any musician who wishes to perform at this year’s market can send an email to [email protected]. Musicians are asked to include their performing name, some information on the type of music they play, a small sample of the music, and which Tuesdays throughout the summer they will be able to perform.
