The Inuvik RCMP recently conducted a search warrant early in the morning on May 5th.
The search was performed with help from the Northwest Territories Emergency Response Team, investigating a residence on Bonnetplume Road.
The warrant was part of a proactive enforcement action for a larger, ongoing drug trafficking investigation. Residents are notified that they may notice an increased police presence in the area.
