Yellowknife Snow Removal to be Paused on Christmas & Boxing Day

The City of Yellowknife is reminding residents that snow removal services will be halted on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

Services will resume on Wednesday, December 27th, which will see cleanings take place on Byrne Road from Woolgar Avenue to McMahon Trail, Taylor Road from Forrest Drive to Sissons Court, and Norseman Drive from Franklin Avenue to Old Airport Road.

On Thursday, Morrison Drive will be cleaned from Sikyea Tili to Otto Drive South, as well as 54 Street from Con Road to End, and Finlayson Drive from Banke Crescent to Dagenais Drive.

Finally, on Friday, Woolgar Avenue will be cleaned from Kam Lake Road to Range Lake Road, and Magrum Crescent from Borden Drive to Piro Court.

Snow removal services will also be paused on the following Monday for New Year’s Day.
