NWT residents who are staying in Edmonton are invited to a special fundraising music festival this weekend.
On Sunday, September 3rd, NWT Fest will be held in Borden Park. The concert will help support the evacuees from the fires, with all ticket proceeds going towards United Way NWT. Additional donations will be accepted in advance with a processing fee, OR on site at the event.
The show will feature a mixture of local and NWT talent, with State of the Art, Dylan Farrell, Leela Gilday, Ian Rossiter and the Hot Club of Zama, Usual Suspects, Kreaky Joints, and Celeigh Cardinal lined up to perform.
NWT residents will be able to use a special code to get their tickets for free, so long as they can provide a valid NWT ID.
