The GNWT is providing several services for Hay River/KFN evacuees entering the middle of the second week of wildfire evacuations.
Hay River family physicians are currently available in Yellowknife and online, specifically catering to the needs of Hay River and KFN evacuees, including regular appointments and prescription refills. Evacuees are encouraged to call (867)-767-9125 or (867)-767-9294 for a phone consultation.
Mental health services are available for evacuees are available in person at the Multiplex from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm daily. Virtual and remote supports are available by contacting the Yellowknife Community Counselling office for information on mental health services.
