GNWT releases first annual ‘Skills 4 Success’ report

Following the announcement of the GNWT’s ‘Skills 4 Success’ Action Plan 2021-2025, the GNWT has released the first Annual Report on the plan highlighting results from 2021-22.

The plan describes 17 actions on track to be completed by 2025 to support adult and post-secondary education.

“The actions in the Skills 4 Success Action Plan and outlined in this annual report will help residents develop the knowledge and skills they need to take advantage of training and career opportunities.” Minister of Education, R.J. Simpson said.

In 2021-22, Skills 4 Success saw 20 in-demand post-secondary education programs delivered throughout the territory with 487 residents enrolled.
