The Government of the Northwest Territories is recognizing the hard work done by the Hay River Fire Department.
The H-R-F-D has won a Fire Service Merit Award for their commitment and dedication to Hay River Residents.
Hay River Fire Captain Terence Fischer has also received an award for his bravery, dedication and contributions as a mentor and leader.
