“It’s just so great really. We have all these toys from a decade ago that now we replace with brand new, really engaging, educational play equipment for the young kids and families, and it’s just fantastic. The parents appreciate it, it’s exciting stuff they don’t have in their home. The kids, it’s like Christmas for them.”

She explained that Yellowknife’s two Playgroup locations have each recently aquired new play materials for the children to use.

All 2022 grant recipients are listed on the Canada Post Community Foundation website.
