The Yellowknife RCMP are investigating a break-in at a local business in Yellowknife.
Julie Plourde is the Media Relations Officer with the Northwest Territories RCMP in Yellowknife, NT.
“At approximately 9:20 a.m., on Friday, November 29, 2019, Yellowknife RCMP received a call for service regarding an alleged break and enter at a business located on 53rd Street,” Plourde said. “A small amount of money was taken and the business sustained minor damages.”
A witness told 100.1 The Moose that she discovered a large number of business merchant debit receipts laying on the ground near Main Street Pizza on the morning of November 29.
No suspect has been located and no arrest has been made according to the RCMP in Yellowknife.
100.1 The Moose contacted Main Street Pizza for comment on the break-in, however, no comment has been received from the business by press time.
The investigation is ongoing.
