Now that Spring has arrived, there are a few things that the City wants to remind drivers of. While the season is not as dangerous for driving as winter, it is still recommended to take caution when driving in the evenings and late at night, as the shifting temperatures can create slippery conditions on roads and sidewalks. Drivers are also advised to avoid driving through puddles that could end up splashing pedestrians on the sidewalks, and to avoid driving in areas where there has been much less snow removal throughout the season, such as alleys and cul-de-sacs.

The City has also advised homeowners to have snow cleared away from roofs and awnings to make sure that it doesn’t fall down on pedestrians passing by underneath.
