The City of Yellowknife has announced that the downtown core will once again play host to the annual Santa Claus Parade!
The event is set to take place on November 25th from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, and will see dozens of local organizations and businesses decorate their own floats, and drive them through the streets for the delight of their friends and neighbours.
Every parade comes with a theme, and this year’s theme will be “Yellowknife Strong”, highlighting the perseverance of the community and the dedication of first responders, essential staff, and volunteers during this past wildfire season.
Community organizations, businesses and schools are invited to enter a float, vehicle(s), or a walking group in the parade. Registration opens Wednesday, November 1, and can be found by clicking here.
