As Hay River continues Phase 2 of the community re-entry plan, the Hay River Community Centre remains closed until further notice.
Currently, the Centre is being used to support fire personnel. Anyone with questions regarding the status of the community centre may call (867)-874-6522.
According to the Town of Hay River, several services have returned with some exceptions due to fire personnel remaining in the community.
Water, sewer, landfill, garbage pickup, pump out, and water delivery are all fully operational and open for use during regular hours; however, the Town recommends residents run faucets for 5 minutes to clear stale water.
Additionally, residential waste can be dropped off at the landfill for no cost as residents continue to return home.
