The Grey Cup traveled North of 60 to be in Yellowknife this weekend.
Former Canadian Football League (CFL) champions Jed Roberts and Rob Brown spent Friday afternoon touring the city with the trophy alongside New Jersey Devils forward Jordin Tootoo.
Roberts won his first and only Grey Cup with the Edmonton Eskimos in 1993. Brown won it all with the Montreal Alouettes in 2002.
Fans snapped pictures with the 106-year-old trophy at Tim Hortons, Avens and Larga Kitikmeot among other locations in town.

“I do events all over Canada and no matter where I go this piece of Canadian history brings out so many people,” said CFL Hall of Fame inductee and official Grey Cup handler Dennis Dowell.
“It just seems to bring Canadians together so I have a great time wherever I go.
“In 19 years that I’ve done this I’ve never had a problem. Canadians are absolutely fantastic and respect the trophy for what it is.”
If you were unable to see the Grey Cup on Friday afternoon, you can find it during the Canadian North Midnight Sun Classic Golf Tournament Friday night, or at the Northern Arts and Cultural Centre between 1 and 3pm on Saturday.
FUN FACT: Dowell says there are 3,462 names on the 13-pound Grey Cup.
