41 new COVID-19 cases in NWT, almost 100 more resolved

There have been 41 new cases of COVID-19 reported in the territory since October 22nd, with almost 100 more having been resolved.

There are now 204 active cases among residents in the territory. Yellowknife has gone down to 91 while Behchokǫ has dropped to 42.

The number of active cases in Hay River continues to climb and is now at 58. Inuvik has dropped to 10 active cases while Fort Simpson has no more.

The total number of cases related to the Sahtu outbreak is at 1717. 1479 cases belonging to NWT residents and 22 out-of-territory cases have been resolved from the outbreak.

The total number of hospitalizations related to this outbreak is now up to 55, with 66 percent of them not being fully vaccinated.

The number of ICU admissions remains at 19 while the number of COVID-19 deaths remains at nine.
