The Gahcho Kué Mine is benefiting from a strong first year.
Head of external and corporate affairs for De Beers Canada, Tom Ormsby, agrees. He says the Mine is seeing strengths in the production side, as well as general safety.
“The Mine is really starting to pick up in production. It’s at the point where they’re making new daily bests almost every day. It’s not just the production though. They’re making sure they’re safe, doing it the right way.”
