According to a government statement, Scott comes with an extensive educational background and many years of experience, ranging from media and production to negotiating and mediating.

“This position is important in helping workers navigate the workers’ compensation system and we are confident Mr. Scott will have a positive impact during his appointment,” said Abernethy in a statement.

“We also take this time to thank Mr. Tkachuk for his service over the last three years.”
