Northwestel says its phone service has been fully restored following a brief disruption for landline customers in Hay River Tuesday morning.
Andrew Anderson, director of communications with the telecoms provider, said customers started experiencing disruptions earlier in the morning.
However, the issue appeared to be resolved before noon.
“Hay River customers experienced a disruption to their landline phone service this morning, which was resolved by 11:45am,” he said.
“Cellular and internet services were not affected. Northwestel apologizes to its customers.”
