The Inuvik RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing man.
73-year-old Mervin Firth was reported missing early in the morning on August 27th. He was last seen around 2:00 am on Reliance Street in Inuvik. He was wearing blue jeans, a black jacket, and a black hat. He is described as being around 5’6” and 140lbs, with significant mobility issues that require a walker.
Anyone who has information about his current whereabouts is asked to contact the Inuvik RCMP at 777-1111.
UPDATE: Mervin has been located safely. The Inuvik RCMP have expressed their thanks to the public for their assistance in locating him.
