The GNWT is reminding all interested organizations that applications are still open for the 2025 Anti-Poverty Fund.
The deadline approaches on March 14th. This fund offers $1.75 million for groups that are working on projects to reduce poverty and improve communities across the North.
In order to be eligible to apply, a group must belong to an Indigenous or Community government, or be a non-government group working alongside Indigenous and Community government groups. The projects themselves have their own set of criteria in order to be eligible, such as being located within the NWT, and aligning with a number of different priorities set by the Territorial Anti-Poverty Strategy. These priorities include supporting children and families, affordable housing, sustainable communities, and healthy living practices.
Applications will be accepted until 5:00pm on Friday. Application forms can be found by clicking here.
