The GNWT is now taking applications for the 2024 NWT Outstanding Volunteer Awards.
This year will be the 33rd year that the awards have been held. The awards are used to celebrate the contributions of Northern residents in their communities.
Going along with the four categories, residents are encouraged to nominate Elders, Youths, Individuals, and Group volunteer efforts who have given their time and efforts to improve the quality of life in the NWT.
Nominations for the awards will be accepted until December 15th, and can be submitted online by clicking here.
The recipients of this year’s awards will be announced during a special ceremony at the Legislative Assembly in February of 2025.
