Behchoko RCMP are currently investigating a motor vehicle incident that occurred late last week.
On Friday, August 2nd, officers were informed of a single vehicle rollover around 5:40 in the morning. The accident had happened around kilometre marker 290 on Highway 3 between Behchoko and Yellowknife.
Polie and EMS arrived at the scene, where they found the vehicle turned on its roof in the ditch. The lone occupant of the vehicle was declared to have died from the impact.
The cause of this accident is still under investigation, which is being supported by a “G” Division RCMP Traffic Reconstructionist and the Northwest Territories Coroner Service.
