Laptops stolen from Tree of Peace Centre over the weekend

Yellowknife RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance after laptops were reportedly stolen from the Tree of Peace Friendship Centre over the weekend.

Police say that between Saturday evening and Sunday morning, the centre was broken into. Between 10 and 12 ACER laptops appear to have been taken.

“The RCMP is looking for any information or leads that may help in the return of these valuable assets to the Tree of Peace,” said Marie York-Condon, Northwest Territories RCMP media relations, in an email.

RCMP have started an investigation into the robbery.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Yellowknife RCMP at (867)669-1111 or CrimeStoppers at 1(800)222-8477.
