The murder trial of a 19-year-old woman accused of stabbing a man in N’dilo in September of 2013 is set to begin in NWT Supreme Court today.
Daniel Faine was 21-years-old when he died from a single stab wound to the chest. The woman’s name can’t be released because she was a youth at the time of the alleged crime.
The trial initially began in March when a jury heard testimony from several witnesses, but a mistrial was declared because a key witness was suddenly hospitalized.
One judge will be hearing the case this time around.
