A MaxMillions ticket worth up to $1 million has beenĀ sold in Yellowknife according to the Western Canada Lottery Corporation (WCLC).
Friday’s $60 million Lotto Max jackpot was won in Ontario, but a WCLC web update says 15 of the 33 million-dollar MaxMillions prizes were also “won or shared” – including one lucky ticket bought in Yellowknife.

Others were sold in Calgary, Edmonton, Quebec, the Atlantic provinces and Ontario. Tickets in Edmonton and Saskatchewan picked up the $100,000 Extra prize.
Next week’s Lotto Max jackpot has been set at an estimated $28 million.
