YKDFN Community Gathering

Join us for a special YKDFN Community Gathering as we celebrate Det’on Cho Group of Companies being named the 2024 Aboriginal Economic Development Corporation of the Year by the Canadian Council for Indigenous Business (CCIB).
This celebration is for YKDFN members and their families. We welcome all who are connected to the community to come and enjoy the festivities.

Schedule of Events:
2:30 PM: Gates Open
3:00 PM: Opening Prayer & Feed the Fire Ceremony
3:30 PM: “Midway,” Elders’ Area, Kids’ Area, and Food Court Open
4:00 PM: Elders’ Bingo Begins
7:00 PM: Drum Dance followed by Door Prizes Announcement
8:00 PM: Gathering Ends

What to Expect:
– Games and Activities: Enjoy a variety of traditional and modern games.
– Food and Refreshments: Indulge in a delicious variety at our food court.
– Prizes and Giveaways: Participate in our door prize announcements.
– Special Ceremonies: Opening Prayer, Feed the Fire Ceremony, and Drum Dance.

Transportation:
Transportation is available for those without vehicles from Ndilo and Dettah. More details to come.
