City Of YK & Northland Utilities YK – Holiday Lights Competition

An event every day that begins at 6:00 pm, repeating until December 15, 2023
The City of Yellowknife (the City) and Northland Utilities Yellowknife (NUY) are pleased to announce this season’s Holiday Lights Competition. There are no categories, just a community of bright, festive lights!
Homes can be nominated by residents through email or by NUY staff. In order to be viewed by NUY staff, residents are asked to leave their lights on from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. December 11 to 15, 2023. Residents can utilize the email [email protected] to send a photo of a home’s festive lights with the address. The nomination deadline is December 15, 2023, at 11:59 p.m.
Public voting will be available from December 16, 2023 until January 7, 2024, on the City’s Facebook page @OurYellowknife.
The top 5 winners from all entries will be announced on January 8, 2024, each winner will receive a $100 prize courtesy of Northland Utilities Yellowknife and a “City of Yellowknife Holliday Lights Top 5” plaque for display.
