The Somba K’e Paddling Club is hosting a Gear Sell and Swap at Fred Henne Territorial Park (Kitchen Shelter 1) on May 24 from 11 am to 3 pm.
How can I take part?
Registration beforehand is encouraged; send us an email at [email protected].
Participants are asked to either donate $5 to the SKPC or get SKPC membership (https://www.albertawhitewater.ca/club-registrations).
What is an eligible item to sell?
Canoe, kayak, SUP and other water related sports gear is welcome as well as camping gear. Anything you might want to take on a camping trip down a river or on a lake.
*ANYTHING YOU BRING, YOU MUST TAKE HOME IF IT IS NOT SOLD*
How is payment managed?
Participants are responsible for dealing with the sales of items (so they have to figure out how payment will work – cash/e-transfer is encouraged).
What is provided?
Very limited table space is provided, but we’re trying to keep it casual. Bring tarps, tape, and a marker to advertise your gear!
