The parade will leave from Somba K’e Park, going down 49th ave before turning onto 49th street (same street as Yellowknife Books and Shoppers), then turning onto 50th Ave (Franklin Ave), and returning to Somba K’e Park on 53rd Street.

We recommend setting up to watch the parade on 50th Ave as it has the most sidewalk space, but you are welcome to view the parade from anywhere along the route other than the street directly in front of Somba K’e Park and City Hall.

Everyone is invited to follow the parade back to Somba K’e Park for the free BBQ where Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Popcorn, and Beverages will be served! Each person can choose between a Hot Dog or Hamburger, get one bag of popcorn, and one drink, to ensure everyone is able to enjoy some food. Feel free to rejoin the line and get seconds, as we will be serving food until it has run out! Gluten-free or vegan options will be available for the hotdogs and hamburgers.

Help us keep the park clean by disposing of your waste in the appropriate receptacles that will be located around the park!
