The Cassien Edgi Health and Social Services Centre in Fort Good Hope is closing immediately due to the ongoing community evacuation. This closure will remain in effect until further notice.
A mobile paramedic service has been deployed to the community to meet basic health needs and support first responders until the health centre’s services are restored. In case of communication disruptions, emergency services personnel can contact the paramedic via radio.
Paramedics will attend to urgent basic health concerns. However, individuals requiring advanced treatment or assessment may be transported out of the community for care, depending on their condition.

Mental Health Supports
Anyone in Norman Wells can access the community counselling program by calling (867) 444-6000. Drop-in mental health supports are available at the Health Centre during the week beginning Monday, 17 June, from 8:30a.m. – 5p.m. Monday to Friday.
