One person was taken to hospital and is being treated.

Following their investigation the police have identified two suspects.

On June 16 officers located and arrested a 42-year-old man and a 32-year-old man, both from Fort Smith, without incident.

Both men are facing charges including:

At the time of his arrest, one man was still subject to a release order going back to pending robbery, firearms and other charges.

“He was further subject to a probation order relating to recent convictions for drug possession, resisting arrest and breach of court ordered conditions,” said Fort Smith RCMP.

This man is facing additional charges including:

  • Failure to comply with a probation order, contrary to section 733.1(1) of the Criminal Code
