The organizers behind Folk on the Rocks have announced that they are once again holding the Main Stage Showdown!
This is a talent-show style event that is open to any and all performing arts! Only ten slots are available for performers, who will each be competing for a grand prize of $500, artist passes for the main FOTR weekend, and an opportunity to perform live on the Lawson Lundell Stage at the main festival!
Judges for the Showdown will consist of two FOTR board members, and several media partners and community leaders.
An online form is available for applicants to sign, with the deadline for submission set for the end of the day on April 11th, or until the ten positions are filled. Performers of any age are welcome to apply, and the ten positions will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.
