Early in the morning on Tuesday, February 25th, the Yellowknife Fire Department responded to a structure fire within the community.
The call was made just after 1:00am, and reported that a structure on Dusseault Court had caught fire. Once firefighters arrived on the scene, they were able to determine that the fire had started in the crawl space near the front of the residence.
No injuries have been reported from this incident, and the homeowner was able to safely evacuate. It has been determined that the cause of this fire was accidental.
