Fort Simpson RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing individual.
24-year-old Maverick Martineau was officially reported as missing on Friday, January 3rd. He was last seen leaving his home in Fort Simpson. At the time, we was wearing a dark coloured hoodie and jacket with a beanie and sneakers. He is described as an Indigenous man, approximately six feet tall and 205lbs with brown hair and eyes.
Anyone who may have information on his current whereabouts is asked to contact the Fort Simpson RCMP at 695-1111.
UPDATE: Martineau has been located safely. The RCMP have expressed their thanks to everyone who assisted in the search.
