Buffalo Airways is now delivering letters to Santa for Hay River residents as well as collecting them at the Santa Claus Parade in Yellowknife!
After announcing Buffalo Airways would send letters up to Santa for Yellowknife residents, Buffalo Airways shared Hay River Residents can now drop there letters off at the location in Hay River.
This is due to traditional disruption in the standard mail traffic. While this isn’t their first time making deliveries to the North Pole, this will be the first time the they will be accepting Santa’s mail, and they have eagerly accepted the responsibility!
Hay River residents can drop them off at the Buffalo Office located at 25 Industrial Drive from 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. then 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Yellowknife Residents can drop them off at Buffalo Airwear, 108 Berry Street, which is open from 9:00am to 5:00pm, or to Buffalo Air Express, 134 Bristol Avenue, which is open from 8:00 am to 6:00pm.
This service will be free to all Hay River and Yellowknife residents. Letters must include a name and a return address in order for Santa to send a letter in return, all with the help of the Buffalo Airways Express Team.
Buffalo Airways staff members will also be collecting letters in the Santa Clause Parade in Yellowknife on Saturday, November 23.
Officials for Buffalo Airways said, ‘Look for the green float and we will have staff collecting the letters to bring to the airplane.”
