Yellowknife RCMP are currently investigating a stabbing the occurred earlier this week.
The incident was reported at 1:00am on October 27th, when officers were informed that a person had been stabbed near 49th Street. When officers arrived at the scene, they found the victim with several injuries, though the suspect had already fled the area.
First aid was provided to the victim until paramedics arrived and took them for further treatment.
The investigation remains open at this time, and no arrests have been made.
