Coming just ahead of the highly anticipated annual music festival, Folk on the Rocks is teaming up with Music NWT to put together a special panel for Northern artists on self-releasing music.
The panel is known simply as “Best Practices for Self-Releasing Music,” and will see various speakers from both FOTR and NWT Music discuss what methods can be taken to help Northern-based musicians grow in their professional careers.
The three main panelists will include Akeem Herbert, Menno Versteeg, and Miesha Louis, each of whom is an accomplished musician from different corners of the country.
The panel will be completely free and open to everyone, though registration is required beforehand. Anyone who wishes to sign up for the panel can do so by clicking here.
The event will be held on Friday, July 19th at 1:30pm at the United Church Auditorium.
