Following up on the flooding event at Yellowknife’s Primary Care Facility, the intended backup location at the Frame Lake Community Health Clinic is temporarily closed due to heating issues at the building, located at 312 Old Airport Rd.
NTHSSA staff have begun contacting impacted patients to re-schedule appointments and will continue to do so until the situation has been resolved.
As the Frame Lake Community Health Centre is located in a leased facility, next steps and reopening date/time will be determined after the property manager is able to determine a timeline to restore heat to the building. NTHSSA will update residents as more information becomes available.
Anyone who requires new appointments can call the Yellowknife Primary Care Centre at 867-767-9294. A high volume of calls is expected, so the NTHSSA asks residents to have patience.
