After a rather challenging year, Yellowknifers were overjoyed to once again see their friends and neighbours cover their vehicles in lavish decorations, and welcome the arrival of the holiday season.
Local businesses, community groups, and even enthusiastic individuals were all welcome to enter their own floats into the annual Santa Claus Parade. The theme for this year’s parade was “Yellowknife Strong,” highlighting the perseverance of the community and the dedication of first responders, essential staff, and volunteers during this past wildfire season.
