The Northwest Territories Power Corporation is giving a heads up to the community of Whati, as a planned power outage will be coming to the area later this week.
The outage is expected to occur between Friday, November 3rd, and Sunday, November 5th. There will only be one outage, and workers are planning for it to take place between 5:00 am and 8:00am.
This outage will be across the entire community, and is being done to allow crews to perform critical maintenance at the power plant and along the distribution system.
