The GNWT are looking for the public’s feedback on two post-secondary education institution applications to deliver diploma-granting programs in the territory.
The College of Northern Canada is applying to provide a Global Tourism Management diploma program and Global Logistics diploma program within the Northwest Territories beginning in January 2024.
The Global Tourism Management program is intended to provide a broad and rigorous study of various management concepts and techniques related to the tourism and travel industries. The teachings will incorporate theoretical lessons as well as practical skills aimed at ensuring graduates are prepared to contribute to the growth and sustainability of the Northern travel and tourism sector.

The goal of the Global Logistics Diploma program is to equip students with advanced skills and insights for navigating today’s complex international logistics environment, uniquely tailored to meet the needs of Northern Canada.
