As a welcome return to normal after the evacuations, the Yellowknife Public Library is once again holding special events.
Starting on October 10th, the Library will be running three different programs for infants and young children.
On Tuesdays from 10:00 to 11:00 am, they will be running “Toddler Time,” which will consist of half an hour of stories, followed by puzzle activities, and is intended for children between 18 months and 3 years old.
Storytime with Kris will run on Wednesdays from 10:00 to 11:00 am. It will begin on October 11th and run until December 13th. This program is intended for kids aged 3 to 5, and will also have a crafts segment.
Finally, from October 12th to December 7th, Thursdays at the library will feature “Baby Time” from noon to 1:00pm. This program is intended for young infants aged 18 months and younger.
All of these programs are free, and allow for parents and children to drop in without needing to register. Anyone who has recently moved to Yellowknife is encouraged to attend, and siblings are also welcome.
