Residents who are immunocompromised or have a condition that puts them at higher risk of severe outcomes are encouraged to register for flights as soon as possible due to intense smoke in the region.
Residents wanting to leave the city by plane must register at Sir John Franklin High School where passengers will be shuttled. Residents are asked not to go directly to the airport.
Bag size is limited to standard carry-on, and passengers are asked to bring no more than 5 days of clothing, and other essentials alongside snacks and a water bottle.
Pets are permitted on all flights as long as they are crated, leashed, or harnessed and kept close at all times.
