On August 6th, at 2:55 a.m., the Fort Smith RCMP received a call reporting that a man had been bear sprayed.
RCMP were told by the caller that a man, who was unknown to the caller, had come to his door seeking assistance as he had been assaulted with bear spray. The male victim did not remain at the residence and left before police could attend. The RCMP made attempts to locate and identify the victim but have not been able to do so.
The Fort Smith RCMP are asking the victim of this incident to come forward and speak with an investigator. Anyone who has information about this incident is asked to call the Fort Smith RCMP.
