Yellowknife RCMP recently responded to a male in distress on the third floor of the Sandstone Apartments in Yellowknife.
On August 2, 2023, RCMP members were called to the Sandstone Apartments and quickly located a 38-year-old man suffering a serious stab wound.
According to the RCMP, officers provided immediate medical care to the victim and was promptly transported by EMS to Stanton Territorial Hospital for treatment and the RCMP says he is expected to make a full recovery.
“This is believed to be an isolated incident and this matter is still under investigation,” The RCMP says.
The RCMP adds a female suspect, known to the victim, has been identified after an in-depth investigation.
