The City of Yellowknife is offering a new grant to businesses who are interested in hosting festivals and speial events.
Known as the Yellowknife Festivals and Events COVID-19 Recovery Grant Program, it aims to continue the City’s love for events that drive diversity, culture, recreation, and economic development.
The City of Yellowknife is supporting the recovery of the festivals and events sector by offering grants to local organizations to encourage their return so they can continue to build and inspire the community through vibrant experiences bringing people and visitors together again.
The City has a limited budget of $30,000, so each organization that applies will be able to claim up to $5,000.
