Déline RCMP responded to a call to investigate a single-vehicle off-road crash near Déline at 1:54 am over the weekend.
Upon investigation of the crash, a damaged ATV was discovered in an apparent rollover.
A 19-year-old female believed to be the driver, was discovered and pronounced deceased at the health center and a 22-year-old male passenger suffered a non-life-threatening injury due to the accident.
“Our thoughts are with the victim’s family at this difficult time.” Déline RCMP said in a release.
The investigation is ongoing, and no further updates are available at this time.
