The GNWT is asking for the public’s feedback on their new conservation plans for the next five years.
The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (ENR) is gathering public feedback on how the GNWT works to protect the land, water, wildlife, and traditions of the Northwest Territories.
One of the stated goals of the GNWT is to try and protect biodiversity by establishing and maintaining a conservation network. ENR is developing an updated workplan to reflect the interests and values of NWT residents today. A draft workplan has been produced based on feedback collected in 2021, and now the public is invited to provide feedback on that workplan and on the advancement of the conservation network in the NWT for the next five years.
Any resident of the Northwest Territories who wishes to have their voices heard on this matter can do so by clicking here.
