Cancer Peer Support Program -Talking Cancer With Your Kids
Some of our hardest conversations are explaining to children someone they love has been diagnosed with cancer. Finding the right words can be difficult, especially if you are struggling with your own emotions and fears about your diagnosis or that of a loved one.
Join Jodi Kapicki, licensed NWT psychologist http://www.northstarnwt.ca for a guided conversation on what to do and say when you talk about cancer with kids. This program will be virtual on Zoom.
Talking Cancer with Your Kids is available to all NWT residents who have experienced a cancer diagnosis or are a caregiver to someone with cancer. Registration is limited to 20 people and FREE for participants.
To register, please send an email and your phone number by Saturday, February 19th, 2022, to email@example.com . A Board Member will contact you to confirm your participation.
This program is funded by 100 Men Who Give a Damn -Yellowknife.
