Man charged after a stabbing in Yellowknife

Yellowknife RCMP has charged a man with aggravated assault after a stabbing in Yellowknife. RCMP responded to a downtown residence in the early morning of January 12th. The 34-year-old male victim of the stabbing was transported to Stanton Territorial Hospital for treatment. RCMP found a 25-year-old man on scene and arrested him.

The Yellowknife man has been charged with aggravated assault and will appear at court on January 15th. RCMP are continuing to investigate the situation.
