Yellowknife RCMP arrest impaired driver in stolen vehicle

A Deline man is facing charges that include Impaired Driving and Theft of a Motor Vehicle.

Late Monday night, Yellowknife RCMP received a call about a stolen vehicle. A second call came in shortly after reporting erratic driving on Deh Cho Boulevard. The vehicle matched the one described in the report. Police were able to locate the vehicle at the sand pits. The driver was arrested.

Clyde Takazo, 33, appeared in court yesterday and was released on conditions. His next court date is scheduled for September 12th.
